
Rob Lofthouse
Rob is the Chief Executive Officer of Storyteller Publishing. His experience in business, information technology, small company startups, and authoring several books, offers a diverse background allowing him to bring a unique perspective to the publishing world, where quality, performance and service are paramount.
With a passion for storytelling, Rob has authored several acclaimed works, including the award-winning biography Honor Through Sacrifice and the heartwarming high school football story The Best Year of Our Lives. He co-authored Two Stitches and A Patch, the real-life story of overcoming grief through a faith-based assurance of life after death. His most recent book, co-written with Steven Woelk, a Navy veteran and prisoner of war, is called, Pig Fat Soup, which will be released later this year. Rob is a Director of the Military Writer’s Society of America, currently serving as Chairman of their annual writer’s conference at the Westin Crown Center from September 25th-27th.
He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, is on the National SAR Budget Committee, volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations, like the Greater Kansas City Friends of Fisher House (Director) and Frontier Museum of the United States Army Foundation (Secretary/Program Director). Descended from a Patriot Ancestor, he serves in the Kansas State Society of SAR (Treasurer), Henry Leavenworth Chapter of SAR (Treasurer) and the George Washington Birthday Celebration, where, as the General Chair and Treasurer, he leads a team of 24 volunteers. He also serves as Treasurer of the Leavenworth Vietnam Veterans of America and is a member of the Marine Corps League.
Rob married his bride, Patricia, 45-years ago in New Hampshire, and they now live in Kansas City, Kansas, are God-fearing Christians, proud parents of 5 adult children with 12 grandchildren.
